Drawing on its commitment to sparking innovation, the company offers new hires support, training, and mentorship. Virtusa will also engage local partners to develop an innovation lab in London to train new employees and establish a central hub for the company in the U.K.

Virtusa is also partnering with leading companies - Bolero, Sedicii, Custodigit, Volante, Intense, and Quantexa - and engaging local universities for research and development opportunities.

“By collaborating with local universities, leading FinTechs and start-ups, our goal is to support the next generation of employees with the skills and experience they need to succeed,” said Ashish Devalekar, Managing Director and Business Head, Virtusa UK, Europe, and the Middle East. “We see a tremendous opportunity to tap into a strong and growing talent pool in the U.K."

In a region with a highly diverse and skilled workforce, as well as top-tier university graduates, Virtusa's commitment will help foster the next generation of skilled workers, support existing talent, and fuel economic recovery and growth.

The pandemic highlighted the positive role a business entity or corporation can play in the employee's life, family, environment, support staff, and others close to them. It showed that if a corporation was willing, it could positively impact lives during times of great crisis. Virtusa initiated several initiatives to provide employees with as much support as possible during a crisis – including a 24/7 CRISIS helpline and more flexible work options.
